What is changing?

From January 4, 2023, we will be removing the followers_count response field from the following Products-related endpoints:

• GET /deals/{id}/products
• GET /products
• GET /products/{id}
• POST /products
• PUT /products/{id}

Additionally, this field will be removed from the response payload of the product webhook.

Why is it changing?

We’re removing the response field because the Products API contains a specified endpoint for retrieving the followers of a product - GET /products/{id}/followers. We recommend using this endpoint to get followers’ information in more detail.

Who will be affected?

Everyone using the 5 specified endpoints to find the number of followers for a product.
